Privacy Policy
Wavclub processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).
Data collected
- Profile info:artist name, email, profile picture
- Account data:legal name, address, collecting society (IPI/CAE) for sellers
- Payment info:PayPal email or Stripe data (processed by providers, never stored directly)
- Usage data:purchase history, uploads, messages, connections
- Technical data:IP address, browser type, pages visited
Purposes
- Providing the marketplace service (purchase, sale, messaging)
- Processing payments and creator payouts
- Automatic license and contract generation
- Fraud prevention and platform security
- Account and transaction communications
- Service improvement and internal analytics
Retention
Data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, then 3 years after account closure for legal purposes. Financial data is retained 10 years in accordance with French accounting obligations.
