Data collected

• Profile info:artist name, email, profile picture
• Waitlist signup:artist name, username, email, roles, goals, language, communication choices
• Account data:legal name, address, collecting society (IPI/CAE) for sellers
• Payment info:Stripe data (processed by our payment provider, never stored directly)
• Usage data:purchase history, uploads, messages, connections
• Technical data:IP address, browser type, pages visited

Purposes

• Providing the marketplace service (purchase, sale, messaging)
• Processing payments and creator payouts
• Automatic license and contract generation
• Fraud prevention and platform security
• Account and transaction communications
• Sending news about the launch and the product, only if you ticked the corresponding box when signing up
• Service improvement based on aggregated internal statistics

Retention

Data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, then 3 years after account closure for legal purposes. Financial data is retained 10 years in accordance with French accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, limit and object to your data. Contact us at support@wavclub.com or file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Emails & newsletter

When joining the waitlist, you choose whether to receive service communications and our newsletter - both are optional and unticked by default. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to support@wavclub.com. Emails are delivered through our processor Brevo (EU).

Cookies & local storage

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookie. It only stores your theme (dark/light) and language locally on your device so the site remembers your display choices, and Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security token when you submit the signup form. Nothing is used to track you across other sites.
